Just thought I’d blow off a little steam talking about players who insist that the best use of their golf discretionary income is a new set of clubs. Don’t get me wrong, lots of great technology out there but folks, if your body can’t make the basic, fundamental, functional movements that good ball-striking requires, you are throwing your new golf club money down the drain. Those new clubs won’t make your upper body turn adequately, will not stop your loss of posture because you have no core strength, nor stop you from going over-the-top because your lower body has no role in your swing. And guess what, your local swing pro can’t help you either if your body can’t do the the things he/she is asking you to do during a lesson. Have a Titleist Fitness Professional evaluate your golf body and get some REAL bang for your golf dollar!
